Committee Member’s Bio

Rebecca Vincent is Deputy Director of The Citizens, a non-profit journalism and campaigning organisation that works to hold Big Tech and governments to account. She is a globally recognised human rights campaigner and former diplomat with over two decades of experience leading successful campaigns and coalitions. Rebecca has lived and worked in London, Paris, Washington, D.C., New York, and Baku, Azerbaijan. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of North Texas and an MA in Human Rights from University College London. She has spoken at fora from the United Nations to the UK parliament and frequently writes and comments in the media on human rights issues.
